Maison Bleu is a traditonal and beautifully renovated 2 bedroom stone house in the heart of traditional Katomeri Village on Meganisi. The owners lovingly renovated the house in the winter of 2022 using the existing stone, natural colours and splashes of colour throughout.

At the front of the house you will find a courtyard which has space to park a scooter and bicycles and a table and chairs to enjoy your coffee or a glass of wine. 5 steps lead up to the front door which opens into a spacious open plan living and kitchen with 2 bedrooms off to the right. There is a large and comfortable double sofa bed and a smart TV in the living area. A dining table to seat 4 is infront of the fully equipped kitchen with oven and fridge freezer.

At the back of the kitchen you will find the modern bathroom which has a shower, and the washing machine.

Maison Bleu has 2 double bedrooms with the traditional stone walls, open wardrobes and AC.

There is  charming courtyard at the back of the villa perfect for cooling down in the summer heat. A large old lemon tree grows in the centre of the coutyard and has a hammock attached, perfect for reading books and a siesta snooze. There are 2 sets of beautiful blue doors which were the original bedroom doors. The door onto the courtyard and surrounding the large 8 -10 seating dining table both have a net curtains. There is also an outside shower perfect for a refreshing cool down or to rinse off the days sea water.

The house allows you experience a taste of Meganisi times past and present by being in the heart of Katomeri you are surrounded by traditional Greek life. The older women embroider on the side of the road and the men mend their fishing nets and lines. There are also a couple of ladies who have the traditional looms outside their houses and display their beautiful crafts.
